Overview
The film in brief.
Botanica Skincare formulates from a single alpine garden, and wanted a product film that starts in the soil rather than the studio. We filmed dew, petals and extraction in extreme macro, then landed on glass and label.
The ninety-second film anchors the brand's homepage and retail displays; the macro library we built now feeds two years of seasonal campaigns.
The challenge
What we were up against.
Macro beauty work is merciless: dust becomes boulders, and living plants wilt under hot lights. The film needed garden-fresh perfection across a five-day studio block.
The approach
How we solved it.
We grew backup specimens in the studio, lit everything cold with LED panels, and shot focus stacks for impossible depth. A botanist stayed on set to keep every stem camera-ready.
