Overview
The film in brief.
Northline Outdoors asked for more than a gear showcase: a genuine expedition series following three athletes across the far north. We embedded a two-person crew for nineteen days, filming the climbs, the weather and everything the weather ruined.
Each twenty-minute episode balances sweeping aerial geography with tent-level honesty. The result tripled the brand's average watch time and became the backbone of its winter retail campaign.
The challenge
What we were up against.
Batteries die, drones ice over and schedules collapse above the Arctic Circle. The series had to feel cinematic while being shot by a crew small enough to move at the athletes' pace.
The approach
How we solved it.
We stripped the kit to two mirrorless cinema bodies, solar charging and a single folding drone. Directors doubled as porters; the story was rebuilt every night around what the mountain actually allowed.
